has demonstrated superior stand persistence in production
fields. In the University of Minnesota Alfalfa Yield Trials, Monument
placed 2nd in yield with 106% of average. In the 96 seeded
Grand Rapids MN yield trial, it was the best stand at 158% of average.
In other 1999 ratings of percent stand, Monument
was #1 of
48 entries in the Lamberton 1995 test, #9 of 42 entries in the Morris
1995 test and #12 of 79 entries in the Lewiston 1996 test. Approved
by the National Alfalfa Variety Review Board 1998.
