Leafy Brand is a blend of our alfalfa varieties that result from bags broken in handling, returned seed, runner-up varieties, isolation strips or other lots of seed where the genetic purity cannot be guaranteed. Other companies claim that their blends or brands are scientifically formulated, however they happen for the same reasons our blends do. In this blend, we do not use Midwest or Canadian catch crop seed, or other low quality seed offered on the wholesale market.
